Christmas is just around the corner, meaning that a new fashion sense is on the run! Christmas planning is serious work. From tackling your Christmas shopping list to prepping your festive looks, Christmas is probably the busiest time of year for everyone really.
In this week’s article, we’d like to share with you some looks, products and mood-boards that could help you during such an exciting season – inclusivity is the way to go, as stores are a lot more crowded, making it harder for wheelchair users in these types of areas or even for people who just want an easier life when it comes to buying gifts, trying on clothes and spending time with their families.
There are so many events to attend this festive season. Of course, you would want to look chic for them. With a series of events, each needing a different dress code, choosing your Christmas party outfits has never been so tasking. This is the time of the year where you get to dress up, go out and about and have fun celebrating.
To start off, here are a couple mood boards for you to follow…
We have designed a couple selections of colour pallets, outfit ideas and just some simple inspiration for you to explore. These are made to fit any type of festive event, whether you’re in a wheelchair, impaired or just plainly looking for some outfit motivation, these following mood boards should fit anyone’s needs this festive season:
According to this board, you can see the most festive and suitable colours that we would recommend for any event happening at this time of year. It includes a variety of styles, suitable for people in wheelchairs mostly but it also includes outfits for amputees and people who basically “want an easier life”.
The main colours include a variety of different shades of red, yellow, brown and green – basically the typical “winter-y” and “Christmas-y” colours.
This next selection of mood-boards contains a variety of casual, sleek and chic looks that anyone can rock during this jovial holiday. It also has some disabled models and the clothes included are also considered “inclusive” due to their fit, size range and mobility adaptation. They can also be tailored to fit anyone’s needs.
They also have a colour selection, – particularly the one on the left where it has different shades of neutral tones that can go with anything. You can never go wrong with these shades/colours. And the board on the right has a wide range of colour schemes, ranging from red to brown to blue-grey.
Some super “put-together” outfits, depending on the dress-code
Whether the occasion calls for a casual, semi-formal, business, cocktail, or festive dress code, we’ve got the best Christmas party outfit designs for a chic and some easy go-to outfits, fit for a celebration. To start off, here is a selection of outfits to wear to a Casual Christmas Party
If the invitation says you can dress casually, there’s no need to go above and beyond with your outfit. Ripped jeans, a cropped top, or a skirt and flats will do the trick here. Be yourself and wear what makes you comfortable, but also don’t look boring.
Office Holiday Party
This party will be filled with your co-workers and bosses, so you’ll want to look refined but not overdressed. The key here is to find a classy, fun outfit. You could opt for a cocktail dress, a stylish blouse paired with pants and a pair of heels, or a skirt with a nice jacket and coat.
The Family Gathering
All-day comfort and easy elegance are the boxes you want to tick when it comes to family-centric festivities. All you need it a comfortable looking and easy to put-on outfit, so these ideas below should give you some inspiration.
And there you have it…
